VePesid is used for:Treating patients with lung cancer and recurrent testicular tumors. It is used in combination with other cancer medications. VePesid is an antineoplastic. It works by stopping the tumor cells from dividing (mitosis), which prevents the spread of certain types of cancer. Do NOT use VePesid if:- you are allergic to any ingredient in VePesid
Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you. Before using VePesid :Some medical conditions may interact with VePesid . Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you: - if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
- if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
- if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
- if you have kidney disease, bone marrow depression, an infection, or a history of blood conditions
Some MEDICINES MAY INTERACT with VePesid . Tell your health care provider if you are taking any other medicines, especially any of the following: - Anticoagulants (eg, warfarin) because their actions and side effects may be increased by VePesid
- Cyclosporine because the actions and side effects of VePesid may be increased
